Dr. Liu Qingshan is a professor and dean of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology Institute of Information and Control. Before joining Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, he was an assistant professor of research at Rutgers University in the United States, an associate researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Pattern Recognition at the Institute of Automation, China Academy of Sciences, and a visiting scholar at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Liu has more than 1 years of research experience in the fields of image and video analysis, computer vision and pattern recognition. He has published more than 8 papers in well-known journals and international conferences at home and abroad, including IEEE Transactions:TPAMI, TCSVT, TMI, TNN, TSMC, and top international conferences: ICCV, CVPR, ACM Multimedia, etc. He is the editorial board of international magazines NeuroComputing and Advance in Multimedia, and the guest editorial board of international magazines IEEE Transaction on Multimedia, Pattern Recognition Letters, Computer Vision and Image Understanding. In 23, he was awarded the Excellence Award by the President of China Academy of Sciences. IEEE Senior Member。
Main research interests:
Face image analysis, visual understanding based on graph/hypergraph model, medical image analysis, event-based video analysis, multi-spectral image analysis and so on.
