The school also arranged for aunts to check at the door, and some aunts would rummage through their bags. Earlier, it was reported that the school raised the price of meals in the canteen.

In response to this matter, the Propaganda Department of hunan university of science and engineering Party Committee replied in writing that the above situation did not exist after on-site monitoring and verification by the Ministry of Security, and such descriptions on the Internet were untrue.

Two students of the school said that hunan university of science and engineering had held a freshman meeting before. At the meeting, the school once said that eating takeaway for a long time affects your health and takeaway is not safe. Any food packed with disposable tableware is prohibited from entering the campus and dormitory. Other fruits, milk and milk tea can be brought into the dormitory for use. Because of illness or other special reasons, you can also bring your own tableware to eat in the canteen.

On the same day, a teacher in the student affairs office of the school said that for the sake of students' food safety, the department implemented a notice prohibiting take-out into the campus and did not require dormitory managers to turn in students' schoolbags.

Regarding the price increase of canteen food mentioned in the net post, the above written reply stated that when the school started in the second half of 20 19, due to the price increase of pork, individual stalls in the student canteen increased their prices privately.
