Chapter 1 General Provisions Article 1 The name of this foundation is the Confucius Foundation of China.
The English name is CHINA CONFUCIUS FOUNDATION, and the abbreviation is CCF.
Article 2 This foundation is a public foundation.
The geographical scope of the foundation's public fundraising is: Nationwide. Article 3 The purpose of the foundation: To organize and promote the study, research, dissemination and promotion of Confucius thought, Confucianism and China's excellent traditional culture at home and abroad through social fundraising and operating funds.
The activities serve to build the most spiritual homeland of the Chinese nation and build a harmonious society; to enhance the unity of Chinese at home and abroad and realize the reunification of the motherland; to promote world cultural exchanges and maintain world peace.
Article 4 The original fund amount of the Foundation is RMB 8 million, which comes from the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China and social donations.
Article 5 The registration and management authorities of the Foundation are the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the business supervisory units are the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Culture.
Article 6 The address of the Foundation is No. 2668, Dongwaihuan Road, Jinan City, Shandong Province.
Chapter 2 Business Scope Article 7 The business scope of the Foundation’s public welfare activities.
(1) Publicly raise, manage and operate funds in accordance with the purpose of the association; (2) Organize research on Confucius thought, Confucianism and traditional Chinese culture, and carry out related academic activities; (3) Promote cultural and academic exchanges at home and abroad, and carry out the provisions of the charter
business collaboration to enhance mutual understanding and friendship; (4) spread and promote Confucian thought and traditional Chinese culture; (5) accept donations from home and abroad; (6) within the scope permitted by national policies and laws, and ensure the safety of the fund
Under the premise, carry out investment operations of the fund to maintain and increase value; (7) Carry out various public welfare funding activities in line with the purpose of the Association; (8) Focus on promoting China’s excellent traditional culture and participate in education, cultural undertakings and cultural industries; (9)
Complete relevant tasks assigned by national departments and the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and entrusted by donors that are consistent with the purpose of the Association.
Chapter 3 Organizational Structure and Person in Charge Article 8 The Foundation may consist of a board of directors composed of 15-25 directors.
Each term of directors of the Foundation is 5 years. When the term expires, they can be re-elected.
Article 9 Qualifications of directors: (1) Support the charter of the Confucius Foundation of China; (2) Be enthusiastic about Confucian culture, donate to the association, have great influence and contribution in the fields related to the association’s business, and be important to the promotion of China’s excellent traditional culture
People from all walks of life who have made positive contributions; (3) The age is generally not more than 65 years old.
Article 10 The appointment and removal of directors: (1) The first directors shall be nominated by the business supervisory unit, major donors and sponsors and determined through consultation.
(2) During the re-election of the Board of Directors, the competent departments, the Board of Directors, and major donors shall jointly nominate candidates and organize a leadership group to organize all candidates to jointly elect a new board of directors.
(3) The removal and addition of directors shall be approved by a vote of the board of directors and reported to the competent department for review and approval; (4) The results of the election and removal of directors shall be reported to the registration management authority for record.
(5) Close relatives shall not serve on the board of directors at the same time.
Article 11 Rights and obligations of directors: Directors enjoy the following rights: (1) The right to elect, be elected and vote for the association; (2) Participate in activities organized by the association; (3) The right to criticize, suggest and supervise the work of the association
Right; (4) Recommend candidates for director; (5) Recruit voluntarily and resign freely.
Directors have the following obligations: (1) abide by the association's charter and fulfill the association's purpose; (2) attend the association's board of directors meeting; (3) implement the association's resolutions; (4) safeguard the association's legitimate rights and interests; (5) actively participate in the association's
(6) Complete the work assigned by the Association; (7) Report the situation to the Association and provide relevant information.
Article 12 The decision-making body of the Foundation is the Board of Directors.
