Born in June, 1965, from Xintian, Hunan. 1987 graduated from the medical department of Hunan Medical University, and was assigned to the Department of Cardiology of Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital in the same year. He has served as a resident, attending physician and deputy chief physician. He studied under Academician Zhu Xiaodong, a famous expert in cardiac surgery in China, and received his master's degree and doctor's degree in cardiovascular surgery in 1993 and 1996 respectively. In 2000, he went to the German Heart Center (Berlin) to study. 1987 has been engaged in clinical and scientific research work of cardiovascular surgery in Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital since graduation, with solid basic theory and rich clinical experience. Participated in more than 3,000 cases of various heart operations, and independently completed cardiovascular surgery 1200 cases, including congenital heart disease, artificial valve replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting and surgical treatment of aortic aneurysm. At present, the interventional treatment of the largest group of aortic dissection aneurysms in China has been completed, and rich experience has been accumulated. In China, cardiovascular surgery technology system was first introduced into thoracic surgery and other fields to help many hospitals complete intraoperative first aid and simultaneous surgical treatment of cardiothoracic diseases.

As the main person in charge, he completed the national key project "Development and clinical application of artificial biological heart valve" and the national natural science foundation project "Research on calcification mechanism and anti-calcification of artificial biological heart valve", and won the national invention award 1997 and the third prize of scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Health.
