The organizational structure of China International Economic Exchange Center

1. Office (Personnel Department) 1. Responsible for the conference affairs of the Center for International Economics’ membership meeting, chairman’s meeting, executive board director’s meeting and comprehensive meetings.

2. Responsible for the sending, receiving, batching, delivery and archiving of documents and materials; responsible for the collection, management and archiving of scientific research results; responsible for the use and management of unit seals and documents and files; responsible for the management of books, newspapers and periodicals and other materials.

3. Responsible for comprehensive management, safety and stability maintenance, confidentiality protection, administrative logistics management and services, etc.

4. Responsible for party affairs, personnel management and service work.

5. Responsible for financial management.

6. Responsible for fund and member management and service work.

7. Complete relevant tasks assigned by the center’s leaders.

According to the above business scope, four departments are established: General Department, Party Affairs and Personnel Department, Finance Department, Fund and Membership Department.

General Office: Responsible for management and services such as conference affairs, document circulation, collection and archiving of scientific research results, seals and documents and archives, security, administrative logistics, etc.

Party Affairs and Personnel Department: Responsible for party affairs, personnel management and service work.

Finance Department: Responsible for financial management.

Fund and Membership Office: Responsible for fund and member management and services.

2. Strategic Research Department (referred to as the Strategy Department) 1. Research world economic development trends, international experience, my country's strategic choices, strategic relationships, as well as major issues involving my country's national interests and national security.

2. Study major issues in the modernization of my country’s social development strategy, social governance system and governance capabilities.

3. Research major issues in the fields of energy resources and ecological environment at home and abroad and my country’s response to global climate change.

4. Undertake or participate in medium- and long-term planning and important special planning research for my country’s economic and social development.

5. Undertake or participate in important consulting project research, and provide decision-making consulting services to departments, localities and enterprises.

6. Undertake the relevant work of the center’s internal academic exchange organization and academic committee.

7. Complete relevant tasks assigned by the center’s leaders.

According to the above business scope, four departments are established: Social Affairs Department, World Economic Department, Security and Diplomacy Department, and Resources and Environment Department.

Social Affairs Department: Responsible for research on major issues in my country's social development strategy, social governance system and modernization of governance capabilities; responsible for the comprehensive work of this department; responsible for the relevant work of the center's internal academic exchange organization and academic committee.

Department of World Economic Affairs: Responsible for research on world economic issues and my country’s foreign strategic issues.

Security and Diplomacy Office: Responsible for research on strategic issues involving my country’s national interests, national security and other issues.

Department of Resources and Environment: Responsible for researching major issues in the fields of domestic and foreign resources, energy, ecological environment, and my country's response to global climate change.

3. Economic Research Department (referred to as the Economic Department) 1. Research on important issues and countermeasures in macroeconomic operations.

2. Research on important issues and countermeasures in regional economic development.

3. Research on important issues and countermeasures in fiscal and financial operations and policy implementation.

4. Research on important issues and countermeasures in economic system reform and opening up to the outside world.

5. Organize and implement activities such as "Monthly Economic Talks" and "China Economic Annual Meeting".

6. Undertake or participate in relevant project consulting work and provide relevant consulting services to governments and enterprises at all levels.

According to the above business scope, four divisions are established: Macroeconomic Division, Regional Development Division, Finance Division, and Reform and Opening Up Division.

Macroeconomic Division: Track and analyze the country's macroeconomic performance, propose countermeasures and suggestions; organize and implement activities such as "Economic Monthly Talks" and "China Economic Annual Conference".

Regional Development Division: Track and study regional development issues, propose countermeasures and suggestions; undertake the comprehensive work of this department.

Fiscal and Financial Department: Track and study fiscal and financial operating conditions, evaluate fiscal policies and monetary and financial policies, and propose countermeasures and suggestions.

Department of Reform and Opening: Track and study major issues in economic system reform and opening to the outside world, and propose reform plans and countermeasures.

4. Industrial Planning Department (Consulting Department) (referred to as the Consulting Department) 1.
