Wu Yongshi Inspirational Scholarship was donated by Wu Yongshi Education Foundation (Hong Kong) and established in School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. The scholarship is open to first-year students from School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. Every year, six students with excellent academic performance and poor family economy are rewarded to encourage them to study hard, improve their quality, inspire them to start a family and serve the country and people.

Wu Yongshi Education Foundation (Hong Kong) is headquartered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and is named after Wu Yongshi, a famous electronic scientist and higher educator in China. Its main purpose is to help the development of education in China, especially to contribute to the development of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, where Tianjin University and Mr. Wu Yongshi have worked all their lives and made outstanding contributions.
