Liu Ziqiang, born in Youxian County, Hunan Province in 1968, Han nationality, professor of history at Xiangtan University 1. He graduated from the History Department of Jilin University, the History Department of Hunan Normal University and the History College of Wuhan University with bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree in history respectively. Now he is mainly engaged in the study of Asia-Pacific economic relations and East Asian modernization. He lectured on master's degree courses such as "Research on Modern World History" and "Selected Reading of Famous Foreign Historiographs" as well as undergraduate courses such as "History of Foreign Historiography" and "Modern World History". He has completed one project of Hunan Social Science Fund, one project of Provincial Social Science Association, one project of Provincial Education Department and one project of scientific research of Xiangtan University, and is now presiding over the key project of Hunan Education Department, "World System Transformation and Japan's' Lost 2 Years'". One monograph has been published in China Social Sciences Publishing House, and nearly 3 articles have been published in core journals such as Journal of Wuhan University, History Teaching, Northeast Asia Forum and Jiangxi Social Sciences.
