The Soong Ching Ling Foundation in the Philippines was founded by a group of successful overseas Chinese in the Philippines, aiming at inheriting and carrying forward Soong Ching Ling's spirit, carrying forward Soong Ching Ling's unfinished business, extensively raising social funds to help poor women and children in the Philippines, and strengthening exchanges and exchanges between children in the Philippines and China in the fields of education and culture.
In memory of Soong Ching Ling, honorary chairman of People's Republic of China (PRC), Soong Ching Ling Foundation 1982 was established in May. In September, 2005, it was reviewed and approved by the fifth Council, and it was renamed as China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, which was translated into English as "China Soong Ching Ling Foundation" for short.
