A shares, or RMB ordinary shares, are ordinary shares issued by domestic companies in China for domestic institutions, organizations or individuals to subscribe and trade in RMB.

The official name of B shares is RMB special stocks.

It is a foreign-invested stock with a face value expressed in RMB, subscribed and traded in foreign currencies, and listed and traded on stock exchanges in China (Shanghai, Shenzhen).
