The Ministry of Science and Technology has not been abolished. The Ministry of Science and Technology is one of the departments in People's Republic of China (PRC) and the State Council, which is responsible for the formulation, implementation and management of national science and technology policies, as well as promoting scientific and technological innovation and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. The Ministry of Science and Technology, formerly known as the State Science and Technology Commission, was established in 1982. Since the announcement of the national central organization reform plan on March 9, 2065438, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China was abolished, and its responsibilities and some institutions were integrated into the newly established Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
