Check whether the itunes account is authorized for this computer. If not, please follow the following steps to authorize.
1) In the top menu bar of itunes, find "store" and select "Authorize this computer" in the drop-down menu box.
2) Enter the Itunes account and password to authorize the computer.

In the top menu bar of itunes, find "Edit" and select "Preferences" in the drop-down menu box.
In the pop-up window, find "Parents", then check "Disable -itunes store" and "Allow itunes U", and then click OK.
Clicking itunes Store in iTunes will automatically jump to itunes U, because of our settings.

Select your ipad and click Sync to sync it once.

In the top menu bar of itunes, find "Edit" and select "Preferences" in the drop-down menu box.
In the pop-up window, find "Parents", then uncheck "Disable -itunes store", and then click OK.
