He is mainly engaged in the research of national sports and shanzhai economy, and has seven books, including Research on National Traditional Sports Culture and Research on Shanzhai Economic Development. He has published 76 academic papers in such academic journals as Sports Science, Journal of Beijing Sport University and Agricultural Economic Problems, among which 4 papers were reprinted by Xinhua Digest. He presided over four major, key, general and youth projects of the National Social Science Fund and won two second prizes of the National Teaching Achievement Award (presided over 1 project).
