Relevant rules of QDII fund subscription and redemption:
1. The confirmation time of purchase and redemption applications is different. Under normal circumstances, non-QDII fund registration institutions confirm the validity of the transaction within T+ 1 day, while QDII funds need to postpone the trading day to confirm the validity of the transaction.
2. The payment time of redemption money is different. For non-QDII funds, after the investor's redemption application is successful, the fund manager will pay the redemption money within T+7 days (including that day). QDII Fund will extend the payment time to T+ 10 days.
3. Investors should be reminded that the opening days of QDII funds are also different. The open day for subscription and redemption of non-QDII funds is the trading day of Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges (except when the fund manager announces the suspension of subscription or redemption), and QDII funds should also consider overseas holidays. If the overseas market is closed, it will affect the settlement time of the fund's net value. That is to say, if the overseas market is closed and the redemption application has not been confirmed, the redemption payment time is 13 working days. Once the application is confirmed, the overseas market will be closed, and the redemption payment time will not be affected, which is still 10 working day.
It can be seen that the "cost" of QDII funds is generally high, both in cost and time. When investors invest in QDII products, they need to comprehensively consider the expected annualized expected return risk, payment fees and time value loss of the fund.
