Article 15 of the Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund
If a unit employs employees, it shall register the deposit with the housing provident fund management center within 3 days from the date of employment, and go through the formalities for the establishment or transfer of employee housing provident fund accounts. Where the unit terminates the labor relationship with the employee, the unit shall, within 3 days from the date of termination of the labor relationship, handle the change registration with the housing provident fund management center, and handle the transfer or sealing procedures of the employee housing provident fund account.
2. What should I do if the company's provident fund is sealed?
Changing the company's provident fund can enable the new company to re-enable the provident fund account. After leaving a company, the user's provident fund account will be sealed, but the account will be closed without paying the provident fund temporarily. In the closed state, the balance in the account will not be affected and will remain in the provident fund account all the time. If you find a new work unit and the new unit pays the provident fund for the user, the unit will re-enable the user's provident fund account, and the status of the provident fund account will become normal.
