The logo theme of WWF is a giant panda. In fact, this lovely giant panda has a real prototype named Jiji, which was a female panda exchanged by Austrian animal dealer Heini Dehmel for three giraffes, two rhinos, hippopotamus and zebra at 1958, and later lived in London Zoo.

The establishment of WWF coincided with Xixi's visit to London Zoo. WWF recognizes that an influential organization logo can overcome all language barriers. So they agreed to use the image of the giant panda as the symbol of the organization. Since then, the giant panda has become an idol symbol of the global nature conservation movement.
