According to Knowledge Encyclopedia, in 2023, Chengdu Zhiguan District, Tianfu New District, Sichuan Province issued the Measures for the Implementation of Cultivated Land Protection Fund in Chengdu Zhiguan District, Tianfu New District, Sichuan Province (for Trial Implementation), which is specially formulated to strengthen the protection of cultivated land, implement the special protection system for permanent basic farmland, improve the economic compensation mechanism for cultivated land protection, and mobilize farmers' enthusiasm for consciously protecting cultivated land.

These Measures shall apply to the permanent basic farmland contractual management right holder in Chengdu directly under Tianfu New District of Sichuan. According to the regulations, the cultivated land protection fund subsidizes the main body responsible for cultivated land protection according to the annual 400 yuan per mu, and the subsidy standard is dynamically adjusted once a year.
