Since its establishment, China Venture Capital has been following the venture capital concept of "supporting innovators to start businesses and helping investors to speculate" put forward by Mr. Cheng Siwei, and devoted itself to the research and exploration of the practice and theory in the field of venture capital. It has invested in dozens of projects in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection, new materials, communication, modern manufacturing, etc. Many projects have been listed on the domestic or Hong Kong stock markets with remarkable achievements, and it has developed into one of the famous venture capital institutions in China.

China Venture Capital has been devoted to the theoretical research and advocacy of venture capital. In 2003, China Venture Capital initiated the establishment of China Venture Capital Research Institute to carry out theoretical research on venture capital, publish China Venture Capital magazine and China Venture Capital Yearbook, and host the annual China Venture Capital Forum. China Venture Capital Forum has become one of the largest and most influential venture capital forums in China, attracting many domestic and foreign investment institutions and entrepreneurs to participate every year.
