The road traffic accident rescue fund does not need to be repaid by the insurance company. The sources of road traffic accident relief fund are as follows:

1, compulsory motor vehicle traffic accident liability insurance (hereinafter referred to as compulsory insurance) with a certain percentage of insurance premium;

2. Financial subsidies given by local governments according to the amount of business tax paid by insurance companies for compulsory insurance;

3. Fines for motor vehicle owners and managers who fail to apply for compulsory insurance in accordance with regulations;

4, the relief fund fruits;

5. The relief fund management institution shall recover funds from the person responsible for motor vehicle road traffic accidents according to law;

6. Social donation;

7. Other funds.

Legal basis: Article 17 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China: The state implements the compulsory third-party liability insurance system for motor vehicles and establishes the social assistance fund for road traffic accidents. Specific measures shall be formulated by the State Council.
