The cancellation of securities accounts takes effect in real time on the unified account platform and takes effect on the next working day of the transaction registration and settlement system. After applying for account cancellation, investors shall not announce the transaction through the trading system of securities companies.

The Operational Guidelines for the Management of Newly Added Dormant Accounts require securities companies to screen the newly added dormant A-share accounts in their management accounts according to their own situation and the three situations specified in Article 1 of these guidelines, and merge these dormant A-share accounts with the corresponding dormant fund accounts into another stock in the company's counter system.
