Lu Zuofu Minsheng Company has disappeared. 1893, patriotic industrialist Lu Zuofu was born in a poor family in Hechuan, Chongqing. 15-year-old Lu Zuofu left home to study in Sichuan, joined the League, and experienced the Revolution of 1911. From 1924 to 1925, Lu Zuofu established a universal education museum in Chengdu, Sichuan; 1927 began to engage in the construction of Beibei, Chongqing. 1925, Lu Zuofu founded Minsheng Industrial Co., Ltd. in Chongqing, starting from a small passenger ship "Minsheng" with only 70 tons. In just a few years, it has become the main force of Chuanjiang shipping, and its route extends to Shanghai. 1937 On the eve of the Anti-Japanese War, the number of vessels of Minsheng Company increased to 46. By 1949, Minsheng Company had more than 900 employees and 148 river-sea vessels. It has branches in China along the Yangtze River and coastal ports, Taiwan Province Province, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, the United States, Canada and other countries and regions, and has more than 60 industries such as power plants, ports, shipyards, banks, insurance, textiles and steel, which became China at that time. 1937 after the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Lu Zuofu devoted himself to the war of anti-aggression, commanded and organized all the ships of Minsheng Company to transport all kinds of materials and personnel to Chongqing, the wartime capital, and transferred more than 30,000 people and 90,000 tons of materials and equipment within 40 days, which made great contributions and sacrifices to the preservation of China's political entity, economic lifeline, educational inheritance and business and cultural undertakings at that time. During the period of 1949, the ships of Minsheng Company stranded in Hong Kong and overseas sailed back to the mainland one after another. 1February 8, 952, Lu Zuofu died and Minsheng Company closed down. Formerly known as Lu, alias Lu Si, he was a famous patriotic industrialist, educator, social activist and social reformer in modern China. The founder of Minsheng Company, a pioneer of China shipping industry, is known as "China Ship King" and "Father of Beibei". Lu Zuofu has crossed the three fields of "saving the country through revolution", "saving the country through education" and "saving the country through industry" and has made achievements in several aspects. When he was young, he put forward education to save the country and fought for it; Establish schools, libraries and museums after self-study, popularize cultural education, and engage in theoretical exploration and social practice of rural construction based on Beibei; During the Anti-Japanese War, he took a seat in Yichang, organized and led the Yichang Great Retreat, preserved the lifeline of China's national industry, and was named "Dunkirk China Great Retreat" by historians. Mao Zedong evaluated him as "an unforgettable person in the modern history of China"; Chiang Kai-shek called him "rich brother" and "national hero"; Feng Yuxiang praised him as "the most patriotic and accomplished person".
