Overview of China Disabled Persons' Federation
China Disabled Persons' Federation is a national disabled persons' enterprise group composed of various disabled persons' representatives and disabled workers in China, referred to as China Disabled Persons' Federation. It was formally established in Beijing on March 11th, 1988. It was established on the basis of China Association for the Blind and Deaf (established in 1953) and China Welfare Foundation for the Disabled (established in 1984).
Purpose
To meet the needs of socialist modernization and develop the cause of the disabled; Mobilize the society to carry forward the socialist humanitarian spirit, understand, respect, care for and help the disabled, and promote their equal participation in social life; Encourage disabled people to adhere to patriotism and optimism, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-reliance, and contribute to society.
Mission
Represent the interests of the disabled, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, unite and educate the disabled and serve them; To undertake tasks entrusted by the government and carry out work for the disabled; Mobilize social forces to develop the cause of the disabled.
