Article 2 Those engaged in wildlife protection management and related activities within the administrative area of ??the autonomous region must abide by these Measures.
The wild animals protected under these Measures refer to: (1) Terrestrial and aquatic wild animals under national key protection approved by the State Council; (2) Terrestrial and aquatic wild animals under key protection approved by the People's Government of the Autonomous Region; (3) Wildlife under the State Council
Terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific and social values ??are formulated, adjusted and announced after scientific evaluation organized by the animal protection authorities.
Article 3 People’s governments at or above the banner and county level are responsible for the protection of wild animals within their own administrative regions.
The forestry, grassland and fishery administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the banner and county level are responsible for the protection of terrestrial and aquatic wildlife within their respective administrative regions.

Article 4 People's governments at or above the banner and county level shall strengthen the management of wild animal resources and incorporate the protection, development and rational utilization of wild animal resources into national economic and social development plans.
Strictly regulate the scientific research and artificial breeding of wild animals, and prohibit illegal artificial breeding of wild animals.
Article 5 It is prohibited to eat state-protected terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific, and social values ??and other terrestrial wild animals, including artificially bred and artificially raised terrestrial wild animals.
Inspection and quarantine of artificially bred and artificially raised terrestrial wild animals and their products shall be carried out in accordance with the "Animal Epidemic Prevention Law of the People's Republic of China" and other laws and regulations.
Article 6 It is prohibited to hunt, trade, or transport terrestrial wild animals that grow and reproduce naturally in the wild environment for the purpose of food.
Encourage units and individuals to report illegal hunting, trading, transportation, and consumption of wild animals. Relevant departments should handle the reports in a timely manner.
Article 7 Commodity trading markets, online trading platforms, catering establishments and other trading and consumption places, as well as operators of transportation, warehousing, and delivery, shall not provide conditions, places or other services for illegal wildlife trading.
Catering business establishments shall not use the names, nicknames, patterns, etc. of prohibited wild animals to create signboards, recipes, etc. to attract customers.
Article 8: All units and individuals have the obligation to protect wild animal resources.
People's governments at all levels and people's organizations, social organizations, schools, news media and other aspects of society should actively carry out publicity, education and guidance on ecological protection, wildlife protection and public health and safety, and all members of society should consciously strengthen ecological protection
Improve public health and safety awareness, change customs, get rid of the bad habit of overeating wild animals, and develop a scientific, healthy and civilized lifestyle.
Article 9 The people's governments at all levels of the autonomous region will commend and reward those who have made outstanding achievements in the implementation of the Wildlife Protection Law and these Measures.
Chapter 2 Wildlife Protection Article 10 The people's government of the autonomous region shall implement key protection for the wild animals specified in these measures.
The list of key protected wild animals in the autonomous region and its adjustments shall be proposed by the wildlife protection department of the autonomous region people's government and submitted to the autonomous region people's government for approval and publication.
Article 11 The People's Government of the autonomous region shall demarcate relevant nature protection areas in accordance with the law, protect wild animals and their important habitats, and protect, restore and improve the living environment of wild animals.

Article 12 Any unit or individual who discovers that wild animals under special state and autonomous region protection are injured, sick, distressed, or lost shall promptly report to the local wildlife protection authorities and may take corresponding rescue measures.
People's governments at or above the banner and county level in areas where wild animals are concentrated should establish wildlife shelter and rescue agencies as needed.
Article 13: For construction projects that affect or damage the living environment of wild animals, the ecological environment department shall seek the opinions of the wildlife protection department at the same level when reviewing and approving the environmental impact report.
Article 14 The funds required for the protection and management of wild animal resources shall be included in the financial budget of the people's government at or above the banner and county level, and shall be included in the annual funds of the wildlife protection department.
The autonomous region shall establish a wildlife protection fund. Fund management regulations shall be formulated by the wildlife protection department of the autonomous region people's government in conjunction with the financial department and submitted to the autonomous region people's government for approval.
Article 15 To protect wild animals under special state and autonomous region protection, it is necessary to avoid causing crop or other losses. If losses are caused, the local people's government shall compensate them.
Compensation methods and compensation standards shall be formulated by the People's Government of the autonomous region.
Article 16 It is prohibited to use toxic drugs in areas where wild animals under key protection by the state and autonomous regions live and breed.
If it is really necessary to use it under special circumstances, it must be approved by the local wildlife protection department and preventive measures must be taken.
