The Ministry of Finance pre-allocates subsidies for new energy vehicles

(Text/Zhang Yuyi) When it comes to the development of the new energy vehicle industry, it cannot be separated from the powerful booster of new energy vehicle subsidies.

Recently, the Ministry of Finance issued the "Notice on Issuing the 2020 Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Subsidy Budget" (hereinafter referred to as: Notice), which includes the settlement of purchase subsidies for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles and the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in various provinces and cities from 2015 to 2018.

Subsidy advance allocation status.

The notice shows that 127.22 million yuan of new energy vehicle subsidies were liquidated in 2015 and previous years, 6.8202 million yuan of new energy vehicle subsidies were liquidated in 2016, 980.78 million yuan of new energy vehicle subsidies were liquidated in 2018, and 2.83869 million yuan of new energy vehicle subsidies were pre-allocated in 2020

yuan, with a total of 10.767 billion yuan in subsidies for new energy vehicles.

According to the statistical table, the number of new energy vehicles approved for promotion this time is 907,132. Among them, the region with the largest number of approved promotions is Anhui, with a total of 109,980 vehicles.

Followed by Shenzhen, Shaanxi, Shanghai, and Beijing.

From a corporate perspective, the passenger car company with the largest number of approved promotions is BYD, with a total of 84,357 vehicles, followed by BAIC, Geely, JAC, and SAIC.

According to the latest subsidy policy, the amount of subsidies for new energy vehicles is declining year by year, while the requirements for product technology are increasing year by year.

Therefore, with the intensification of subsidy reduction and the impact of the epidemic on consumption, domestic sales of new energy vehicles have continued to decline.

This phenomenon is enough to remind the majority of car companies that although subsidies are good, don’t be greedy.
