Third, children's comprehensive quality has been improved. In a school for the children of migrant workers in the suburbs of Beijing, there is a little girl named Pu Qian. She was taught by the "Star Volunteer Support Group" of Beijing Jiaotong University, and then returned to Sichuan to attend junior high school. On May 12, 2008, when the earthquake struck, she was the first to react from a nap. She immediately remembered the earthquake escape methods taught by college students. After waking up, she led her classmates to run downstairs to the playground quickly and saved many students.
Fourth, the primary school enrollment rate supported by teaching has improved. After the support of college students, many children have realized their dreams of being admitted to universities through hard work, and their lives have changed since then. For example, Wang Qinghua, a native of Xiji County, Ningxia, studied under Zhu Yao, a zodiac student majoring in information and computer science at the School of Science, Central University for Nationalities, and was admitted to the same university and major in 2009. After many discussions, exchanges and on-the-spot investigations, many college students and social people who volunteer to teach have suggested that it is necessary to build a platform for public welfare undertakings, which not only reflects the development direction of national education, but also integrates social charity resources. It is necessary to train and fund college students to carry out teaching activities, establish a stable counterpart teaching base, realize multilateral docking, solve existing difficulties, and promote the standardized, scientific, sustainable and long-term development of teaching activities. Based on this concept, with the strong support and consent of the China Youth Development Foundation, we started to set up the China College Students' Volunteer Education Fund in August 2009 to promote the volunteer education project for college students in China.
