Research interests include embedded computing, intelligent software technology, system software and software engineering. 1983 graduated from Peking University physics department, majoring in physics (undergraduate), 1999 graduated from Beijing institute of technology, majoring in computer application (doctor of engineering). He has been engaged in many aspects of research and teaching in computer and related fields for many years. At present, the research direction mainly covers EDA/ASIC design methodology, embedded computing (chips and operating systems), media data processing theory and technology, software production process quality control and so on. He has undertaken a number of scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the Ministry-level Key Pre-research Fund, and won many awards such as 1 National Science and Technology Progress Award and 1 National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award.
