Member of Protection Committee, member of Water Conservancy and Fisheries Professional Committee of China Water Conservancy Society, director of Hubei Fishery Society and director of Hubei Ocean and Lake Society. As a technical backbone, he participated in many key innovation projects of the National Seventh Five-Year Plan, the Eighth Five-Year Plan and the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the Ministry of Water Resources, and participated in the special research on the impact of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower projects such as the Three Gorges and the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project on aquatic organisms. In recent years, WP4 "Ecological Response of Important Biological Groups to Water Environment Stress", a major project undertaken by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Provide decision support for ecological environment protection of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower projects.
