The medical expenses paid by the maternity insurance fund include the following three aspects: (1) The maternity medical expenses paid by the maternity insurance fund include the necessary examination fees and delivery fees during pregnancy and childbirth; Operation expenses, medicine expenses and hospitalization expenses (including bed expenses, nursing expenses, anesthesia expenses, treatment expenses and materials expenses necessary for basic medical treatment). (2) Medical expenses for family planning operation paid by the maternity insurance fund, including the expenses incurred by the workers for abortion, induced labor, sterilization and recanalization due to family planning. (3) The expenses for complications paid by maternity insurance fund refer to the expenses for complications during maternity leave, complications during childbirth and complications during family planning operation.
Legal objectivity:
Article 55 of the Social Insurance Law stipulates that maternity medical expenses include the following items: (1) maternity medical expenses; (two) family planning medical expenses; (3) Other project expenses stipulated by laws and regulations.
