Fund termination refers to the suspension of fund operation due to the lack of manager, too small fund scale or the adoption of a resolution by the fund beneficiary meeting.

The termination of graded funds can generally be divided into four types: automatic termination at maturity, termination by trustee, termination by fund manager or termination by public investment resolution.

1. Automatic Maturity: Due to the structural planning and the operation of derivative financial products, general fund products with capital preservation or even poly are often locked as the maturity date of the fund, with the term ranging from 2 years, 3 years or 5 years, while most securities funds have a longer term, which can be as long as 80 years or even more than 100 years.

2. Termination of the trustee: when the assets of the fund manager are liquidated.

3. Termination of the fund manager: when the fund size is less than the lower limit stipulated by the competent authority.

4. Termination of the fund holder: the fund holder may convene a special resolution meeting to dissolve the fund.
