Column 2-1 Special progress of Central Geological Exploration Fund
In 20 12, the central geological exploration fund gave priority to the exploration of 47 important minerals in the first batch of national comprehensive exploration areas, focusing on the exploration of energy resources in countries such as coal, uranium, iron, copper and aluminum, and the orderly exploration of superior mineral resources such as tungsten, tin, antimony and rare earth. A number of large and super-large deposits were newly discovered, and coal, uranium, iron, nickel and aluminum were abundant.
20 12 1 year, the mineral exploration project was completed by 20170,000 yuan, 238,200 cubic meters of exploratory trench was completed, and 4 18600 meters was drilled, and 25 new minerals were discovered. The general survey of Daying uranium mine in Inner Mongolia was completed, and the national super-large uranium deposit 1 was submitted. Coal resources were initially found in Zhungeer Coalfield1KLOC-0/contiguous coal exploration project in Inner Mongolia. There were 792 million tons of 333 grade iron resources, 37.5 million tons of ilmenite and vanadium ore 167.6 in three general survey projects in Panxi Iron Mine Comprehensive Exploration Area in Sichuan Province. 400,000 tons of nickel resources were added to the Pobei nickel mine project in Xinjiang, 50 million tons of bauxite resources were found in Dongshan and Mazongling bauxite exploration areas in Wuzhengdao, Guizhou, and 340,000 tons of rare earth resources were found in Wan 'an, xinluo district, Fujian.
