The Detonator is about Zhao Xudong (Duan Long), a gunman who has worked in a private coal mine for 20 years. He survived after a conventional explosion, but four other workers were killed. Zhao Xudong was involved in an extremely cruel dispute in the process of pursuing the truth.
In the scene where a group of policemen are driven away from downtown, Zhao Xudong skillfully throws explosives into the trash can to create chaos, which is a bit like Matt Damon's routine in Bourne ultimatum, but the action design of the detonator is more realistic.
