I am preparing to resign. How to deal with provident funds and various insurances during the period of resignation and unemployment?

When we choose to resign, social security is also an aspect that we need to focus on.

Social security includes five insurances and one fund, namely pension insurance, medical insurance, maternity insurance, work-related injury insurance, unemployment insurance, and housing provident fund.

If social security is not handled well, resulting in payment interruption or other problems, it will cause us a lot of unnecessary trouble in the future.

So, what should we do with our social security after we leave our jobs?

Will the suspension of payment have a big impact?

: After an individual resigns, the labor contract with the company is terminated, and the company will naturally no longer continue to pay contributions to the resigning individual.

001: If you do not participate in the pension insurance from now on, do not renew the payment, and do not pay for fifteen years, all the personal contributions will be refunded to you when you reach retirement age.

002: Medical insurance and pension insurance, in fact, the problem is not too big, and there will be no big problem if the payment is stopped.

Medical insurance is related to medical treatment, so it is also relatively important.

If the interruption of participation in social security does not exceed 3 months in a social security year, it will still be regarded as continuous participation.

If the personal account has a balance in the month after the individual stops participating in the insurance, it can still be used. When the insurance is suspended for more than 3 months and the insurance is re-enrolled, the cap line of the overall fund for the current medical insurance year will be calculated based on the new continuous insurance period, but this will not affect

Calculation of accumulated years.

Therefore, in terms of medical insurance, a short-term suspension of payment will have little impact.

003: Work-related injury insurance and maternity insurance. Work-related injury insurance and maternity insurance do not have personal accounts and will be canceled after leaving the company.

In other words, work-related injury insurance and maternity insurance can only be enjoyed while working.

Especially for maternity insurance, you must buy it for 10 months before you can enjoy the relevant policies in the 11th month.

This can easily lead to suspension of payment, which means not renewing social security payments until you find the next job.

Therefore, work-related injury and maternity insurance will inevitably stop paying when an individual leaves the company, and cannot be paid back.

All you can do is wait until you find the next company and continue to pay social security. 004: Unemployment Insurance Unemployment insurance is the most basic social security provided by the state to the unemployed, but not all unemployed people can receive unemployment insurance benefits.

According to Article 17 of the "Regulations on Unemployment Insurance": If the employer and the individual who worked for the unemployed before losing their jobs have a cumulative payment period of more than 1 year and less than 5 years in accordance with regulations, the maximum period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 12 months;

If 5 years is less than 10 years, the maximum period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 18 months; if the cumulative payment time is more than 10 years, the maximum period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 24 months.

If you are unemployed again after re-employment, the payment period will be recalculated, and the period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits can be combined with the period for unemployment insurance benefits that should be received but have not been received when you were previously unemployed, but the maximum period shall not exceed 24 months.

Therefore, after resigning, you can take the relevant documents to the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security to receive unemployment benefits, and unemployment insurance payments will not be made until you find your next employer.

005: Housing Provident Fund Housing provident fund is paid by both units and individuals simultaneously. It can be used to buy or repair a house. It can be withdrawn by oneself or entrusted to the unit.

After resigning, you can go through the transfer procedures. You need to open an account in the new unit first, give the account to the old unit, and let the old unit transfer the money from the original account to the new account.

Individuals cannot make housing provident fund payments, so payments are easily cut off, resulting in individuals being unable to apply for housing provident fund loans in the near future.

Summary: After resigning, the company will provide termination/cancellation of the labor contract. The termination time in the contract is the time when the company stops paying provident fund and social security.

For social insurance, you can go to the service window of the Social Security Bureau with a firm certificate and pay according to the proportion calculated by the local social average salary to realize personal payment.

As for the housing provident fund, individuals cannot pay it.

Of course, you can also find a corresponding service agency to rely on your own social security relationship, and personally contribute to pay for the five social insurances and one fund.
