The painting of Hermit's Cell I on a white background (1968) is a part of a room-sized triptych, in which the picture on the left is 3.5 meters long. The event took place on July 7, 20 1 1, and was re-exhibited after eight days of restoration. The restoration work was completed by Tate Gallery under the guidance of Miro Foundation. The restoration work may only cost a few thousand pounds, so the compensation of 203 thousand pounds paid by the British government is mostly due to the depreciation of value. As the name of this painting shows, the propylene on the canvas of this painting is mostly white, with black curves painted on it. Although the repair work covered up the damaged part, the traces of repair were still faintly visible.
After London, Milo's retrospective exhibition went to Barcelona and closed at the National Gallery of Washington on August 20 12. However, in Washington, the damaged painting was not on display.
