QDII fund is a fund for mainland investors to invest in overseas assets. Because RMB has not been freely convertible, it needs to be converted into foreign currency and then invested in overseas markets. However, holidays in China are different from those in overseas markets. Therefore, if overseas markets trade during our holidays, there will be gains, and the gains will fluctuate on the basis of yesterday, and the gains = current price-cost price.
Generally, the net value of QDII funds will be announced one day later than other funds. If QDII funds are purchased before 15: 00 on the same day, the share will be calculated according to the net value of the day. If the QDII fund is purchased after 15:00, it will be calculated according to the net value of the next trading day, and it will be postponed in case of holidays such as weekends, so it will take T+2 days to confirm the QDII fund share.
