Is buying Nasdaq funds equivalent to giving money to the United States?

Not really.

There are only two ways to buy Nasdaq funds. One is to directly open a U.S. stock account and buy on a U.S. stock account. However, since it is more troublesome to open a U.S. stock account, and there is no third-party custody of the U.S. stock account, you have to apply for an overseas settlement.

Funds can be withdrawn only with a settlement card. If there is no settlement card, the funds will always be in the U.S. stock account.

When purchasing QDII Nasdaq Funds, QDII funds are purchased in RMB, so currency conversion is required when purchasing, so the exchange rate will affect the fund shares.

Secondly, because the trading hours of the peripheral market are different from those of A-shares, it takes longer to confirm the purchase of Nasdaq fund shares, and it also takes 4 to 10 working days for the funds to arrive after redemption.
