I. Overview of the course

Our medical courses are intellectually stimulating and professionally challenging. We provide strict medical science training, and at the same time provide students with the communication, interpersonal relationship and clinical skills that doctors need today.

If you are a graduate who wants to study medicine, you have several options:

You can apply as an affiliated student (applying preclinical components of medical standard courses in two years instead of the usual three years) to Lucy Cavendish, Steedmund or Wolfson Colleges.

You can apply for accelerated medical postgraduate courses at Hughes Hall, Lucy cavendish College, St. Edmund College or wolfson College (only for UK/EU students).

II. Details of annual courses

At Cambridge University, before learning to apply this knowledge to medical practice as a clinical student, you should first study medical science. The first three years (preclinical research) involve lectures, practical courses (including anatomy) and supervision, and there are usually 2-25 scheduled teaching hours per week. Clinical research in Cambridge University (Grade 4, Grade 5 and Grade 6) focuses on learning in a clinical environment: supported by seminars, counseling and discussion groups at bedside, outpatient clinics and general practitioner operations.

In Grade 1 and Grade 2, you will learn the core scientific knowledge and skills related to medicine required as a medical professional. Taught by some of the world's top academic scientists, we provide you with a scientific foundation, so that you can fully develop your medical career, whether your goal is to provide excellent patient care or you want to contribute to clinical academic medicine, and combine research, teaching and clinical duties to promote the development of medical care.

The social background of health and disease, introducing the wider cultural aspects of British health care and medical industry, and cooperating with patients and colleagues in hospitals and communities.

You are good at one of various other subjects offered by universities (sometimes called insertion in other places) and are eligible for a bachelor's degree. Courses include:

Part II Biology and Biomedical Science (providing a series of disciplines, such as pathology, physiology, zoology and psychology).

No matter which subject you choose to study, you will be prepared for patients in the third year. During this year, you visited community health-related institutions and followed a woman and her family during pregnancy.

Grade 4, Grade 5 and Grade 6 (clinical research) courses include:

Clinical research is based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and the NHS Foundation Trust of Cambridge University Hospital. In addition to being a tertiary hospital with an international reputation for medical excellence, Biomedical Campus is the website of several major research institutions. As a student, you can also spend time in NHS hospitals in other parts of eastern England and in general practice in Cambridge and surrounding areas. In the whole clinical research, you will be based on biomedical science education; Develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to practice clinical medicine. Third, extra course fees

Grade 1 and 2: a lab coat (estimated at 12-14), replacement of instruments, scissors, gloves, washing of white coat, safety glasses (estimated at 3-5), calculator approved by the university (estimated at 14), and first-year travel (estimated at 25).

Fourth, employment prospects

In general medicine, medicine, surgery, psychiatry and other professional fields, there are a wide range of hospitals and community occupations. Doctors will increasingly provide medical services in a series of clinical environments. Most British graduates continue to work in the NHS and about 4% become general practitioners.
