He once participated in an academic symposium on the education of ethnic minorities across the Taiwan Strait held in Taipei, Taiwan. The paper "Health Education of Ethnic Minorities in Yunnan Province" was selected to be read at the meeting, and was selected to be published in volumes of the Taiwan Teachers' Education Book "Education of Ethnic Minorities in Mainland China"
