Harbin Institute of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Teaching Team

As of July 31, 2020, the total number of full-time teachers in the school is 4,165, of which 1,337 have senior positions, accounting for 32.1%, and 1,337 have deputy senior positions. 1,683 people, accounting for 40.4% of the total number of teachers. There are currently 39 academicians of the two academies, 9 national-level teaching teachers, 19 young scholars, 53 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 49 winners of the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Outstanding Youth Fund, and leading talents in the national “Ten Thousand Talents Plan” 46 people, 23 young top-notch talents, and 32 national-level candidates for the "Hundreds and Thousands of Talents Project".
