-Completed the joint training program in German universities and obtained the doctoral degree awarded by China (sandwich mode);
-Ph.D. at a German university, with a doctorate in Germany.
DAAD cooperated with German Academy of Sciences, and funded outstanding doctoral students from German Academy of Sciences to go to China for joint training 1 to 2 years through China Academy of Sciences -DAAD joint scholarship.
Through short-term research scholarships, DAAD provides financial support for Dr. China and postdoctoral students who want to study or research in Germany for a short period of six months.
The DLR -DAAD joint scholarship jointly provided by DLR and DAAD * * * * supports outstanding doctoral students from China to conduct short-term or long-term research in the DLR Institute. The professional fields funded are aviation, aerospace, transportation and energy.
In 2007, the "Project of Building High-level Universities by China Municipal Government" was officially launched. Every year, 5,000 China students from 60 contracted universities go abroad for doctoral degrees through this scholarship. this
Among these scholarship students, half went abroad to study for a doctorate, and the other half were co-trained doctors in sandwich mode. In the past five years, the number of scholarship students who choose to study in Germany is close to 65,438+00% of the total number, and Germany is the second most popular destination for China students after the United States. DAAD vigorously publicizes this project, so that China students can better understand the opportunities of studying for doctoral degrees in Germany and the advantages of Germany in higher education and scientific research. From 20 12 to 20 16, China construction association continued to promote this project, but the implementation form changed. Starting from next year, CSC plans to provide 6,000 scholarships every year to help China students study abroad for doctoral degrees. Among them, 3,500 places will be awarded to the doctoral students of "265,438+065,438+0 Engineering College" in the "sandwich mode" to finance their joint doctoral studies in Germany, and finally they will be selected.
Received a doctorate in China. The remaining 2,500 scholarships will be used to fund students to pursue doctoral degrees in Germany. All doctoral students (such as young civil servants) from domestic universities, research institutes or other institutions can apply. China students who study abroad at their own expense may also apply for the scholarship for the first time if they obtain a master's degree abroad. As before, all CSC scholarship students still need to sign an agreement to return to China to serve after graduation. However, after graduation, you can continue to stay in Germany 1 to 2 years as a postdoctoral fellow, during which CSC will no longer provide scholarships. In addition, CSC will launch the undergraduate scholarship program for the first time, with a scholarship quota of 1 000. "2 1 1" and "985" projects
Excellent undergraduate students above the second year of colleges and universities can go to Germany for short-term study for 3 to 12 months through this project. The goal of CSC is to provide for students and universities in China in 20 12.

DAAD has set up a new scholarship program for China master students who want to study in Germany. This project has no professional restrictions. With the help of this scholarship, China students can go to German universities or other research institutions for 1 to 3 months' master's thesis-related research. The main purpose of this scholarship is to provide opportunities for China students to get familiar with German universities and research environment, and to find suitable tutors for their future doctoral studies in Germany. At the same time, this project also hopes to provide opportunities for German professors to get to know and know German students who are interested in studying for doctoral degrees in China in advance. Applicants must have completed at least two semesters of master's programs at universities in China before they can get scholarships. In addition, the applicant also needs to indicate the future academic or career development direction.
On 20 1 1, DAAD Beijing Office, together with its partners in China, selected 30 China DAAD doctoral students in three different projects. In the selection interview of each project, 65 applicants introduced their scientific research plans to the expert judges. Through the cooperation project between China Academy of Sciences and DAAD, doctoral students can do research in Germany for one or two years. During this period, the Chinese Academy of Sciences is responsible for providing scholarships for the first year. If the funding is successfully extended, the funding for the second year will come from DAAD. In the end, 10 of the 20 applicants won the scholarship. The National Scholarship Fund Committee is a partner of DAAD for many years. For example, both sides have doctoral scholarship programs. This year, 13 of the 28 applicants won this scholarship. Among them, 12 students will pursue doctoral degrees in Germany, and 1 students will complete joint training and scientific research projects in Germany through "sandwich mode" and finally get doctoral degrees in China. In addition, DAAD has not provided an application opportunity for applicants who do not meet the qualifications of the first two projects. A total of 17 direct applicants from DAAD participated in the interview, and 7 of them finally won a scholarship to study for a doctorate in Germany.
