Bing Xin (19001010.5-1999.2.28), female, from Changle District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is a member of China Association for Promoting Democracy. China poet, modern writer, translator, children's literature writer, social activist and essayist.
1February 28th, 999 At 2 1 p.m., Bing Xin died in Beijing Hospital at the age of 99, and was known as the "old man of the century".

Bing Xin 195 1 After returning to China, she took an active part in various social activities. He was a member of the second and third Council of the Chinese Writers Association, a secretary and consultant of the Secretariat, a member and vice-chairman of the second and fourth National Committees of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, a deputy to the first and fifth National People's Congresses, a member of the fifth and seventh Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Standing Committee, and a member of the eighth and ninth National Committees.
Shortly after the founding of New China, Bing Xin returned from Japan and devoted herself to various cultural undertakings and international exchange activities. She has visited Japan, Britain, the Soviet Union and other countries to spread friendship among people all over the world.
