Why is the loss still being calculated after the fund is sold?
1. Handling fee
When investors sell the fund, the handling fee charged by the fund may be delayed. For example, if an investor sells a fund on Monday, and the fund company confirms the successful sale on Tuesday and charges a handling fee of 10 yuan, then what the investor sees on Wednesday is yesterday's earnings-10 yuan.
2. The selling time exceeds 15: 00.
If the investor sells the fund after 15: 00 on the same day, and the confirmation time is T+2, then the income of the day and the income of the next trading day are included, so there are cases where the fund still loses money after selling.
3. Some special funds need a long time to sell and confirm their shares.
Special funds such as QDII and FOF need a long time to sell and confirm their shares, usually on non-T+ 1 day. During this period, the fund's profit and loss will continue to show.
If you don't have your own special fund, it is recommended to sell it before 15: 00. The sale before 15: 00 is calculated according to the net value of the day, and the loss of the next trading day has nothing to do with you.
