Zhuhai refers to the South China Sea. Zhuhai is located in the south-central part of Guangdong Province, facing Hong Kong and Shenzhen across the sea in the east, Macao in the south, Jiangmen in the west and Zhongshan in the north.

Zhuhai enjoys excellent water transport conditions, and has nine national first-class ports, including Gongbei, Jiuzhou Port, Zhuhai Port, Wanshan, Hengqin, Doumen, Wanchai, Zhuhai-Macao Cross-border Industrial Zone and Zhuhai Highway Port of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Zhuhai is the city with the largest ocean area and the longest coastline in the Pearl River Delta, with many islands in its territory, and is known as the "city of 100 islands".

Zhuhai has excellent tourism resources such as islands, beaches and rocks, and famous scenic spots such as Fei Beach, Zhuhai Seaside Park, Dong 'ao Island and Haiquan Bay are very popular.
