Anhua, Hunan, has worked in eight units including universities, enterprises, banks and governments. The main research fields involve resources and environmental policies, green and low-carbon economy, macroeconomics, regional economy, industrial economy, "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", investment opportunities, enterprise strategy and so on. He has written five monographs such as People-oriented Development Theory, published hundreds of articles in People's Daily and other newspapers, submitted more than 50 research reports to the State Council, leader of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, presided over or participated in more than 80 major scientific research projects at home and abroad, published hundreds of articles in People's Daily and Reform, and put forward the view that "China's economy has entered the stage of heavy chemical industry", which has aroused widespread repercussions.
