In accordance with the requirements of the Opinions of the Central Committee on Strengthening the Management of Relief for Ex-prisoners, local resettlement education institutions should publicize and introduce social assistance policies to ex-prisoners when they report for duty, explain the conditions and application procedures of assistance, assist ex-prisoners and their families with difficulties in life to apply for social assistance, and actively coordinate social assistance management departments such as civil affairs, health and family planning, education, housing and urban construction, and human resources and social security to provide assistance. To meet the requirements of released prisoners, the implementation of minimum living security, poor people support, medical assistance, education aid, housing assistance, employment assistance, temporary assistance and other relief measures. The local people's government will help those released from prison to settle down. The local people's government shall give relief to released prisoners who have lost their ability to work and are unable to determine their dependents, supporters and basic sources of livelihood.

What are the subsidy policies for released prisoners?

1. After the prisoners are released from prison, the local government will issue venture capital and temporary social assistance;

2, for urban (including urban) household registration of released prisoners, the per capita income of their families is lower than the local minimum living standard, civil affairs departments at all levels should be included in the local minimum living guarantee, so as to achieve "should be guaranteed as much as possible";

3 cities (including towns) registered prisoners have participated in unemployment insurance or are receiving unemployment insurance benefits before serving their sentences or reeducation through labor. After being released from prison or released from reeducation through labor, those who meet the requirements can enjoy or restore unemployment insurance benefits in accordance with regulations.

For ex-prisoners who have participated in the basic old-age insurance for enterprise employees before being released from prison and reeducation through labor, if they are re-employed, they shall continue the old-age insurance relationship in accordance with relevant state regulations and pay the old-age insurance premium in full and on time; Those who reach the statutory retirement age shall enjoy the corresponding pension insurance benefits according to the regulations. Prisoners who have received basic pensions before serving their sentences or reeducation through labor can continue to receive basic pensions according to the standards before serving their sentences or reeducation through labor, and participate in future pension adjustments;

4, rural prisoners, released from prison and released from reeducation through labor, should promptly implement the responsibility field (mountain, land).
