China's Regulations on the Management of Foundations passed in 2004 divided foundations into public offering foundations and non-public offering foundations. Public foundations can raise funds from the public, while non-public foundations cannot raise funds from the public. In order to better implement the One Foundation Plan, on June 9, 2008, 10, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau approved the non-public offering of Shanghai Jet Li One Foundation (Shanghai One Foundation). After the establishment of Shanghai One Foundation, it signed an agreement with the Red Cross Society of China on June 4th, 2008, 165438+, with Shanghai One Foundation as the project executing agency of the One Foundation Plan. In order to better develop the charity of One Foundation, Jet Li, the founder of One Foundation, always hoped that One Foundation would become an independent foundation with public offering qualification. The establishment of Shenzhen One Foundation is a great support from the civil affairs department for social forces to explore the innovation of charity.
