Xu Liang, male, researcher, doctoral supervisor, director of Beijing Institute of Ophthalmology and vice president of Beijing Tongren Hospital. 1982 graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences with a bachelor's degree. 199 1 ~ 1992 was funded by the german scientific research fund and worked as a senior visiting scholar in the eye hospital of the university of Herun, Germany. 1996 ~ 1997 was funded by the American Glaucoma Foundation and went to Washington University Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow in ophthalmology. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of Chinese Ophthalmology Society and deputy head of glaucoma group. He is currently the editor-in-chief of Foreign Medical Ophthalmology and Ophthalmology. Won the third prize of scientific and technological progress of the state and the Ministry of Health, 1992, the first golden key prize of the Sino-American Ophthalmology Society and the Ophthalmology Society of the Chinese Medical Association, the second prize of Beijing scientific and technological progress 1 time, and the third prize of Beijing scientific and technological progress for many times. 1993 enjoyed the special government allowance of the State Council, 1995 was awarded as an outstanding expert in Beijing, and in 2007 was awarded the Outstanding Blind Prevention Award by the Asia-Pacific Ophthalmology Society. In 2008, he was elected as a member of the 11th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a member of the Special Committee of Education, Science, Culture and Health. Mainly engaged in glaucoma community screening, early diagnosis, eye disease epidemiology and blindness prevention model research, published more than 50 articles abroad in recent 5 years.
