Legal analysis: The cost of ventilator treatment during hospitalization is reimbursable. Due to different policies in each region, charges may differ, but they should all be covered by medical insurance reimbursement. However, when using a ventilator in a hospital, you need to purchase the ventilator tubes and masks yourself, and these costs cannot be fully reimbursed. If the patient is hospitalized multiple times during the year and the medical expenses for the first hospitalization exceed the deductible, the expenses incurred for re-hospitalization will be accumulated and compensated according to regulations. If the patient is hospitalized due to illness and is transferred to another hospital for continuous hospitalization with approval, the medical expenses of the hospitalization will be calculated cumulatively and reimbursed in accordance with regulations, and the report will be reported once a month.

Legal basis: "Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China" Article 30 The following medical expenses are not included in the payment scope of the basic medical insurance fund:

(1) They should be paid from work-related injuries paid from the insurance fund;

(2) Should be borne by a third party;

(3) Should be borne by the public health;

(4) Seeking medical treatment abroad.

Medical expenses should be borne by a third party in accordance with the law. If the third party fails to pay or the third party cannot be identified, the basic medical insurance fund shall pay first.
