WSET, full name of Wine and Spirits Education Foundation (Wine &; Sprite Education Trust is the world's largest provider of qualification courses for wine, spirits and sake. Courses are spread all over the world, including Britain, America, France, Italy and Japan. It is a leading international alcohol professional training institution.
WSET 1 is a wine preparation certificate. Enter the world of wine from the beginning of the course, and simply understand the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell and taste, thus helping students to choose or sell products better.
WSET Grade II wine certification focuses on the core knowledge of wine, including wine tasting, planting and brewing, introduction of global grape varieties and their corresponding producing areas. Students will learn about the wine styles made from different grapes, the classification system and labeling terms of each country.
In addition, the basic knowledge of sparkling wine and fortified wine will be mentioned in the second-level course. Those who successfully pass the examination will receive a badge as a unique symbol of the intermediate sommelier in addition to the certificate.
The WSET3 level 3 course lets you know more about wine cultivation and brewing. Compared with intermediate courses, advanced courses also have higher requirements for the application of tasting skills.
