2021 Fund Practitioner Examination Subjects

Exam Subjects

The Fund Practitioner Qualification Examination has three subjects. They are:

Subject 1: Fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business standards;

Subject 2: Basic knowledge of securities investment funds;

Subject 3: Private equity Basic knowledge of equity investment funds.

Subject 1 "Fund Laws and Regulations" is a required subject, subject 2 "Basics of Securities Funds" and subject 3 "Equity Investment Funds" are optional subjects, that is, you can choose one of the two. For public and private equity practitioners respectively, you can also choose to take the three-subject exam.

Examination method

The Fund Practitioner Qualification Examination is a closed-book computer examination. The examination time for a single subject is 120 minutes, and all questions are multiple choice. Candidates who fail to log in and confirm on the exam machine 20 minutes after the exam starts will be deemed to be absent from the exam; they can hand in their papers and leave the venue 45 minutes after the exam starts.
