Huazhong University of Science and Technology Graduate Science and Technology Innovation Fund is responsible for the specific fund operation, fund raising, use and management, which consists of three parts: technical department, financial department and office. The CMC has an expert review committee, which is responsible for the review, research supervision and achievement appraisal of funded projects. The expert committee has no right to allocate innovation funds.

Among them, the technical department is composed of experts and professors from some departments of the school, the financial department is located in the graduate work department of the school party Committee, and the office is located in the school youth science and technology innovation base.

The expert committee consists of general perennial consultants and invited consultants, all of whom are experts and professors from relevant departments of the school. Among them, there are 3 perennial consultants with a term of 3 years; Six invited consultants with a term of one year. The annual list of invited consultants shall be determined one month before the centralized review of the project in the first half of the year.

The work of innovation fund is divided into two parts: centralized evaluation and daily work. The Management Committee is mainly responsible for the daily work management of the Innovation Fund and the centralized review management twice a year. The expert committee will focus on its work once every six months, and its work contents include: conducting semi-annual routine inspection on previously funded projects before evaluating new projects, evaluating and identifying projects completed in the past six months, and evaluating newly applied projects. The annual centralized review is completed by the Fund Management Committee and the Expert Review Committee.

In the daily work of the fund, the technical department of the fund management Committee is mainly responsible for the examination and approval of related research of various projects and the routine inspection of quarterly reports of projects; The finance department is responsible for the accounting management and specific income and expenditure of the fund; The office is responsible for the daily work of the Fund Management Committee, the daily management of graduate students and tutors of the project, and the internal coordination, foreign cooperation and publicity of the Fund Management Committee.
