About reimbursement
After the newborn is hospitalized, if it meets the requirements of the designated medical care of the children's hospitalization mutual fund, the expenses of hospitalization in the designated hospital where the neonatal ward is set up shall be included in the scope of payment.
Newborns must first go through the procedures of medical insurance for urban and rural residents and mutual fund for children's hospitalization, and then settle according to the following circumstances:
1. If you are discharged from the hospital the following month after the two insurance procedures of medical insurance for urban and rural residents and children's hospitalization mutual fund are completed, you can settle in the hospital with your medical certificate and hospitalization settlement certificate (a valid referral form must be submitted at the same time for referral).
2, not in the hospital accounting settlement, within 3 months after discharge, to the children's hospitalization mutual fund insurance area fund management office to apply for sporadic reimbursement.
3. Materials required for piecemeal reimbursement: diagnosis certificate (original), discharge summary (original and photocopy), receipt of medical expenses (original and photocopy), detailed bill of medical expenses (original and photocopy), birth certificate (photocopy) (required for reimbursement of neonatal hospitalization expenses), ordinary debit card of Shanghai Bank (original and photocopy) (either the child himself or his guardian, if the guardian, proof of relationship must be presented.
Note: Reimbursement to Shanghai Bank is limited to Shanghai Bank. Ordinary debit cards will do, parents' or babies' will do, and those who don't have them will be prepared in advance.
Newborn medical insurance card and children's hospitalization mutual fund do not conflict, and they are both effective supplements to children's medical insurance.
